A food bin spotted inside a beacon at a children’s play area has left onlookers dumbfounded.

The object was found by resident Jamie Clark in the village of Borden play park, Sittingbourne.

The village is on the outskirts of the town and has a population of about 2,000 people.

It makes the skilful positioning of the waste bin even more impressive given the small number of people living in the area.

The act comes a little over three weeks since a trolley confused people in Sheerness after being found at the top of a beach bandstand.

It was captured by coastal officer Ian Arnell and left those who saw it with equally as many questions as answers.

It is not yet known whether the bin has been returned to its owner.
