Police have renewed their appeal for information about a missing teenager.

Tye Poyser-Harding, 17, was last seen in London Road, Sittingbourne, near the Esso petrol station at the Staplehurst Road junction, at about 10.45pm on Monday, July 15.

He is described as being 5ft 9ins, of a medium build and with short blond hair.

Detective constable Stewart Catt, from Kent Police’s missing and child exploitation team, said: "We have conducted numerous inquiries to locate Tye and believe he is still likely to be in Kent – possibly Sheppey or Folkestone.

"Due to his age, it is extremely important that we locate him so we can check on his well-being.

"I would therefore urge anyone with information, no matter how small they consider it, to call us on 101, quoting reference 15-1922."
