Police cordoned off a seafront promenade at the bottom of a cliff after a man was found injured.

Paramedics are also at Palm Bay in Margate this morning after reports of the incident.

Police were called to the area at about 6am on to a report of an injured man. The force has since confirmed he has died.

A cordon was enforced along the promenade and people could not walk through.
