A man in his 80s died at the foot of a cliff this morning.
Police and paramedics were called to Palm Bay, Margate, to reports of an injured man near the seafront promenade.
He was confirmed dead at the scene.
An area of the cliff and the promenade were cordoned off after emergency services attended at about 6am.
A spokesperson said: "The death of the local man in his 80s is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner.”
