East Sussex woman dies after collision on the A21, near Tonbridge

A woman has died after her Mini Cooper crashed into a fence near Tonbridge.

Yesterday evening, at 6.50pm, the white car was travelling from North Farm towards Tonbridge, when it left the carriageway and collided with a fence.

Emergency services attended and the driver, a woman in her 40s from East Sussex, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Yesterday evening, police had closed off the carriageway between Pembury and North Farm.

Kent Police’s serious collision investigation unit is investigating the circumstances and officers are appealing for any witnesses to get in contact.

Officers would also like to obtain dash cam footage that shows the vehicle prior to and in the moments leading up to the collision.
