A road has reopened in both directions after a serious accident.

Drivers were held along the A21 near Kilndown, between Kilndown Road and the B2079 Lady Oak Lane.

The crash, which happened at around 3.40pm, is said to have involved a motorbike.

It was reported there was a large amount of congestion to B2079 Lady Oak Lane as people tried to avoid the closure.

The road re-opened just after 8pm.
