Firefighters called to house fire in Freight Lane, Cranbrook

Four fire engines have been tackling a blaze at a home in Cranbrook.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to the property in Freight Lane this afternoon.

A height vehicle was also sent to the scene at 1.30pm, and crews wearing breathing apparatus used compressed air foam, a hose reel jet and a main jet to tackle the flames.

Nobody was injured and crews left the scene just before 6pm.

The cause is not yet known.
