Man in hospital after serious crash on A21 near Lamberhurst

A pedestrian is in a serious but stable condition in hospital after being hit by a lorry on a busy road.

The collision happened shortly after midday on Monday on the A21 between Lamberhurst Quarter and the Forstal Farm Roundabout near Lamberhurst.

The blue DAF lorry was travelling south when the accident happened.

A man in his 30s was taken to a London hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

Anyone who saw the incident who has not yet spoken to officers, or who has dashcam footage which may assist the investigation, is urged to call the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 01622 798538 quoting reference XX/DC/023/21.
