An application has been submitted to create a new equestrian centre in the countryside.

The proposal will involve a change of use of the land adjacent to Tile Barn Cottages in Ayleswade Lane, Headcorn, from an agricultural hay field to paddocks, to include a sand school, tack room, four-stall stable block and a mobile home to give one bedroom accommodation.

The stables will be constructed of timber.

No change would be necessary to the existing access from Ayleswade Lane, and the site would have parking for three vehicles.

The site falls under the remit of Tunbridge Wells Borough Council and the application can be viewed here.
