Parking disruption for children taking their children to school at Boughton Monchelsea Primary has been less than expected.

The village had been told that Church Street would be closed from Monday this week, but contractors have left open a single lane allowing access to the village hall car park.

The lane closure is to enable BT to lay 400m of new ducting in the carriageway so as to to take high speed fibre to the new Fernham Homes housing development being built in Church Street.
