Police appeal after victim attacked with weapons in Marden, near Maidstone

A man is believed to have been injured following a suspected assault.

Police were called at 6.50pm yesterday to Cascade Close, Marden, where a man was reported to have been attacked, but officers have not been able to identify him.

It is believed the victim was involved in an altercation with two other people and may have sustained injuries after an assault with weapons, police said.

The victim was reportedly chased in the direction of Admiral Way.

Despite extensive inquiries, including the use of a police drone to help search the local area, the welfare and whereabouts of the man still remain unclear.

An 18-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy have been arrested on suspicion of assault.
