Two men arrested after late-night brawl in Harbour Street, Whitstable

Two men have been arrested after a late-night brawl in Whitstable.

Officers were called to reports of a disturbance in Harbour Street at 10.20pm last night.

One man suffered injuries but did not require medical assistance.

Witnesses say the altercation was near the Duke of Cumberland pub in Harbour Street, Whitstable (12812804)

A police spokesman said: "A 30-year-old man from Whitstable was arrested on suspicion of assault. He has been released under investigation..

"A 48-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested on suspicion of affray and has since be released without charge."

Witnesses say the altercation happened in Horsebridge Road near the beer garden of Duke of Cumberland pub.
