CCTV footage released after alleged cheque fraud at RBS bank in Ashford

CCTV footage has been released of a woman police want to speak to after attempted frauds at banks in Ashford and Canterbury.

A woman is alleged to have used a false driving licence in an attempt to cash a £5,000 cheque at the Royal Bank of Scotland branches on April 3 this year.

The woman left both branches empty handed after staff became suspicious and asked for more information.

The suspect is described as aged in her late 40s, 5ft 9ins tall, with blonde hair and was wearing a knee length dark coat.

Anyone with information should contact PC Helen Woollven at Kent Police on 101, giving reference SI/ZY/2637/13.
