Police appeal as female motorist punched in face after Ashford crash

The search is on for a man suspected of punching a female motorist in the face.

In a case of suspected road rage, a man who was driving a blue Nissan Navara pick-up truck got out of his vehicle after colliding with the woman's car.

It is reported he then punched the woman in the face through an open window of her vehicle.

The man is described as being white, aged about 50, of stocky build, with short grey hair and a beard.

He was wearing a black biker style leather jacket and jeans. His vehicle was towing a small trailer with a ride on lawn mower.

The attack occurred on a roundabout between Maidstone Road and Chart Road at around 3pm on Tuesday, May 14.
