A special evening of entertainment is being held on Friday, to raise funds for an exciting new festival taking place in the town.

Joining Hands in the lower High Street is hosting a big dinner and quiz at Tenterden’s London Beach Hotel.

Charity chief Betsy Aidinyantz (pictured right) is hoping to raise money for Ashford Festival, the borough’s first ever arts and technology festival.

Taking place in September this year, the festival will bring together artists and community groups to create a weekend of fun, visual indulgence and community spirit to the town centre.

To help pay for the celebrations, Joining Hands is inviting teams of up to eight people to take part in their quiz evening, taking place from 6pm onwards.

Tickets cost £20 per person, and include a three-course meal, plus entertainment.

If you would like to take part, email natasha@ashfordfestival.org or call 07791448337.
