Camier (pictured right) currently leads the British series for the Airwaves Yamaha team and now has the chance to impress on the world stage.

Ashford rider Camier has a 38 point lead in the championship after winning six of the eight races so far this season.

He, along with team-mate James Ellison, will now be challenging the cream of the world’s superbike fraternity including Noriyuki Haga and Ben Spies.

"I’m counting down the days," said the 23-year-old.

"It is going to be really interesting to see how we perform against the World Superbike teams. We know the competition will be tough, but we’ll be working flat out to see a British team on the podium at our home round."

Camier has already tasted victory at Donington this season in the third round of the British championship.

The British round takes place at Donington on June 28.
