Cars crash outside Ashford Domino's and Panorama building in town centre

Two cars have crashed on a busy town centre road this afternoon.

The incident happened shortly before 3.30pm by the Panorama in Ashford town centre at the junction of Wellesley Road and Somerset Road.

A Peugeot 306 has come to rest at the side of the road underneath a tree.

The passenger side has been smashed in and windows broken and the rear driver's side door is also damaged.

Shards of glass have been left scattered on the pavement and pieces of debris are on the verge.

A Toyota was also parked up on the side of the road in Wellesley Road with its front end damaged.

Paramedics are at the scene speaking with the occupants of the vehicles who are walking around.
