Smarden teen who went missing from Pluckley Road area of Smarden near Ashford found safe

A 14-year-old girl who vanished for more than 48 hours has been found safe.

The teenager, from Smarden, was reported missing from the Pluckley Road area at 7.12pm on Friday.

Her disappearance sparked a police appeal to help find her.

Officers confirmed on Sunday night she had been found safe and well.

They thanked everyone who shared the appeal.
