A JANUARY sale with a difference is currently taking place in Ashford High Street.

Forget cheap coats and reduced Reeboks ... the County Hotel is cutting the price of its booze and food.

The pub cum restaurant in Ashford’s Lower High Street, is holding a sale throughout January.

Manager Simon Pitcher is reducing the price on a choice of food and drink at the pub until January 31.

Simon said: “Department stores and shops hold their sales in January and I believe that, given the choice of a trip to a sale at the shops or a sale at the County Hotel, most people would prefer to visit the pub.”
