Linda Ann Jenns of Richborough Way, Kingsnorth, Ashford, charged with causing death by dangerous driving in Simone Weil Avenue after Paul Stinton dies

An unemployed driver has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving after a jogger from Ashford died.

Paul Stinton, 45, was out running in Simone Weil Avenue on Saturday, January 4 when he was hit by a Ford Kuga.

He was flown to Tunbridge Wells Hospital then transferred to King's College Hospital in London where he died just over three weeks after the crash.

He had suffered serious head, neck, chest and abdominal injuries.

Yesterday afternoon, unemployed Linda Ann Jenns, 48, of Richborough Way, Kingsnorth, Ashford, was charged in relation to his death.

Paul Stinton was airlifted to hospital.

She is due to appear before Canterbury Magistrates on Monday, July 14.
