Smash involving Hyundai i30 in near Lower High Street Ashford sparks emergency response

Emergency services were scrambled to a two-car crash in a town centre.

A Hyundai i30 was involved in a smash in Station Road, at the junction with the Lower High Street, in Ashford.

Two police cars arrived at the scene outside Kaspa’s dessert shop just after 8am, from where officers could be seen directing traffic while the car was recovered.

An ambulance was also at the scene and one woman was taken to Ashford’s William Harvey Hospital as a precaution.
