Emergency crews at Mace Industrial Estate in Ashford

Fire crews helped a woman in her 60s out of a window after she suffered a fall.

A number of emergency vehicles, including several ambulances, rushed to Mace Lane Industrial Estate at 11.25am.

The woman suffered head and facial injuries and was assessed at the scene before being taken to the William Harvey Hospital.

Witnesses said two ambulance cars and one fire engine were at the scene just off Wellesley Road in Ashford town centre.

A Kent Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said the crew's height vehicle was used to help a casualty out of a window.

Police officers were not called to the scene.
