Injured women taken to hospital after car rolls over in Woodchurch

Two women were taken to hospital when their car rolled into a ditch near Ashford.

The pair were injured as the vehicle crashed in Redbrook Street, Woodchurch, yesterday afternoon.

Kent Police said officers were called to the scene at about 3.20pm.

One of the women had to be helped out of the silver Ford Focus by crews from Kent Fire and Rescue Service.

Both women were taken to the William Harvey Hospital, in Ashford, and kept in overnight to be treated for their injuries.

The road was closed by police until 9.30pm so the car could be recovered.
