Closed lanes on the M20, between Junction 8 (Leeds Castle / Maidstone Services) and Junction 9 (Ashford/ Faversham) have now been re-opened.

It is believed two lanes had to be closed earlier this morning after reports of a two car collision heading coastbound.

Emergency services attended the scene however no injuries have been reported.

All lanes are now back open.

A police spokeswoman said: "Police were called following reports of a two vehicle collision on the M20 coastbound between Junction 8 and 9.

"No injuries were reported and all lanes are open."
