Police are hunting a gang of thugs who robbed a man at his own house.

The robbers turned up at the 27-year-old's home in Canterbury Road, Ashford, threatened him and took cash and valuables.

Kent Police spokesman Rosy Alexander said two men knocked on the door.

The victim was threatened with violence and the two offenders demanded cash.

"He handed over a quantity of cash and the offenders also made a search of the man's bedroom and stole jewellery, an Apple iPhone and camera.

"A third offender joined the two offenders and they all left the property together."

The victim suffered minor injuries, which did not need medical attention.

The raid happened at 1.50pm on Tuesday, April 21.

One of the two men who called at the house is described as dark European, 5ft 3in tall, medium build, aged 22 to 23, with short, dark brown hair and wearing a hooded top.

The other is said to be dark European, 5ft 5in tall, slim build and his face was covered.

The third man is described as tall with a green scarf covering his face.
