A motorcyclist has been flown to a London hospital with serious injuries after a crash in Charing this morning.

Emergency crews, including police and paramedics, rushed to Pluckley Road at 10.45am after the smash between a motorbike and car.

The biker is in a 'serious condition' in hospital.

The crash happened at the junction with The Street and involved a motorcycle and a blue Rover 25.

Pluckley Road was shut at the junction with Charing Heath Road but has since reopened.

Police investigating the crash are now appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
