A motorcyclist was injured in a crash in Sir John Fogge Avenue, Ashford, at 8.22am today.

The man suffered injuries which police believe are not life threatening and he was taken to the William Harvey Hospital.

A second vehicle was involved although police were unable to confirm whether the car and bike collided.

The crash caused huge delays in the town centre during this morning's rush hour.

The road was cleared just after 9am.
