29 March 2014
by Suz Elvey

One lane of the M20 has been closed coastbound between junctions 8 and 9 after a car ended up down an embankment.

The single-vehicle collision happened just after 2pm.

Police said no one was injured but a barrier has been damaged and fuel was spilt on the road.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service warned drivers to look out for debris on the road following the crash.

Police said the road would be partially closed for "a time" while the vehicle is recovered.
