Officers have cordoned off a cash machine outside Tesco Express, in Mill Court, off Hythe Road in Ashford following a possible raid

Police are investigating a possible raid on a cash machine outside a supermarket in Ashford.

Officers were called to Tesco Express, in Mill Court, off Hythe Road, at 6.29am this morning to a report that an ATM machine had sustained damage.

It is unknown whether any cash was taken in the potential raid but the machine has been cordoned off with police tape. 

Investigations are on-going.
