Florist Alfie King appeals for witnesses after his beloved dog Jack is run over and killed on Charing Hill.

Florist Alfie King is appealing for witnesses after his beloved dog Jack was run over and killed on a main road in Charing.

Mr King, 52, of Downs Way, Charing, found the nine-year-old Jack Russell at the edge of busy Charing Hill at 11am on Wednesday of last week.

He said: “We just want someone to come forward to say what happened in Jack’s last minutes, but they are not in any trouble whatsoever.

“We have had him since he was a pup and just want to put our minds at rest as to what happened to him.”
