Barrow Hill Place is a cul-de-sac so it is not clear how the accident might have happened.

Ashford Fire Station crew manager Adam Smith said: “We are not sure what was the cause of its accident but it happened just off the roundabout.

“At first we were not required but paramedics assessed the situation and asked for use to remove the roof.”

Space was needed for the casualty, who is in her late teens, to be treated and she was then removed on a spinal longboard to a waiting ambulance.

Kent Police were also called out and there are no reports of any other injuries.
