Woman rescued from car in ditch in Boughton Aluph near Ashford

A woman has been cut free from a car after it ended up in a ditch.

Firefighters were called to the incident in Canterbury Road in Boughton Aluph near Ashford at about 11.20am.

The crew removed the roof of the car using hydraulic rescue equipment and released the woman.

They left the scene just before 1pm.
