A2 Dover Road closed in both directions after crash near Lydden Hill turn off

The A2 has reopened in both directions after a single-vehicle crash on the coastbound carriageway near Lydden Hill.

The road was shut between the A256 Whitfield and the A260 Woolage, while the overturned white Land Rover Defender was recovered.

Several ambulances and a police car attended the scene, where a female passenger was treated by paramedics.

No other injuries were reported.
