Delays on A2 near Wincheap in Canterbury after lorry hits parked car transporter

Delays have hit the coast-bound A2 near Canterbury after a lorry hit a car transporter parked in a laybay.

It went on to hit another lorry before ending up in a verge this morning.

One lane near to Wincheap has been closed while the damaged vehicles are recovered and a diesel spill is cleared.

The driver of the moving lorry was taken to the Kent and Canterbury Hospital with glass in his eye.
