This is the dad-to-be killed when a trench collapsed on him.

Callum Osborne, who died on a building site last week, was named by police today.

The 24-year-old labourer had been working on a housing development in Bridgefield Road when he was buried by deep soil.

More than 15 people desperately tried to free him.

When he was released, paramedics spent more than 45 minutes trying to resuscitate him. Callum died at the scene.

Police arrested a man who owned company working on the site on suspicion of corporate manslaughter.

He was later released and bailed until June 10.

A full investigation by the Health and Safety Executive into the tragedy will be carried out.

Mr Osborne lived in Canterbury and his partner is eight months pregnant.
