A fight has left one man in hospital this evening.

Police were called to a fight between two men just before 2pm in North Lane, Canterbury.

Eyewitnesses report one man was chasing another with a broken bottle.

One man was taken to hospital following the fight - his injuries are not thought to be serious.

Another man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of affray and remains in custody.
