A man suffered a broken nose and ribs after he was attacked from behind in Whitstable on Saturday night.

The 26-year-old was in Swanfield Road between 11.30pm and 11.50pm when he was assaulted after being approached from behind.

He says he remembers falling to the ground before suffering a broken nose, fractured ribs and concussion.
