Man found injured beside A257 Ash Bypass, Canterbury, sparking police investigation

A man has been found injured by the side of a road - sparking a police investigation.

Police and ambulance crews are at the scene on the A257 Ash Bypass near Ash, Canterbury, where the victim was discovered just after 6.50am.

The road is currently closed.

It is not yet known whether the man was a pedestrian, or how he came by his injuries.

A police spokesman said: "Inquiries into how the man came by the injuries are ongoing and motorists are advised to find alternative routes.

"Anyone with information is urged to call 101 quoting reference 24-0142."

The ambulance service has been approached for more information.
