School's tribute to Victorian artist

A KENT school which was once home to famous Victorian artist Thomas Sidney-Cooper is today paying a tribute to his work.

A special plaque is being handed over to Kent College Infant and Junior School in Harbledown, near Canterbury, to highlight the achievements of one of the district's most famous sons.

The artist once lived at Vernon Holme which is part of the site.
