A THANKSGIVING service for the life of former Kent president Don Beney will be held in Canterbury on Tuesday, August 9.

The celebratory service for Mr Beney, who died at his West Wickham home last Monday aged 90, will start at noon at St Dunstan’s Church, Whitstable Road.

The Beney family request bright attire, including sports ties, but only family flowers.
