Teenager escapes serious injury after collision in Sturry Road, Canterbury.

A teenager was hit by a car in Canterbury city centre this morning but has escaped serious injuries 

The 19-year-old woman suffered minor injuries following the collision in Sturry Road at 7.30am. 

She refused to go to hospital after ambulance crews treated her at the scene. 

Police reopened the road an hour later.
