Three-car crash shuts A28 Island Road in Sturry for two hours

A three-car crash shut a busy stretch of road for two hours.

Police and paramedics were called following the accident at just before 9am on the A28 Island Road at Sturry.

Pictures show a car with serious damage to its front.

The road was closed near the junction with Babs Oak Hill to allow recovery of the damaged vehicles. It was reopened at 10.50am.

No serious injuries were reported.
