Do you or does somebody you know deserve a Valentine’s Day treat?

Then we have just the prize to give one couple a February 14 to remember.

The Gazette and Faversham News has teamed up with businesses across Canterbury to put together the perfect Valentine’s evening.

Our lucky winning couple will enjoy a three-course meal at the Marlowes restaurant in St Peter’s Street, with the delights on offer ranging from a succulent lamb shank to an oven-baked salmon fillet.

The desserts are just as likely to tickle the tastebuds, and will be washed down with a complementary bottle of wine.

The couple will then walk the short distance to the city’s Marlowe Theatre, where they will enjoy the spectacular ballet Coppélia, by the Russian State Ballet of Siberia.

Set to music by the Russian State Orchestra of Siberia, it tells a light-hearted tale of mistaken identity and is perfect for families and first-time theatre-goers.

The theatre will also provide a free programme and interval drinks.

Canterbury College will ensure the deserving loved one doesn't go home empty handed by providing a beautiful bouquet of flowers.

To enter, tell us why you or a couple you know deserve a Valentine’s Day treat.

Send your entry and a picture to kentishgazette@thekmgroup.co.uk or Gazette House, 5-8 Boorman Way, Wraik Hill, Whitstable, CT5 3SE.

The deadline is midday on Tuesday, February 4.

The winners will be announced in next week’s Gazette.
