Barry Hawkins put up a brave fight as he took on one of the giants of snooker in the world championships final.

Ronnie O'Sullivan beat Barry Hawkins by 18-12 at The Crucible.

Now living in Ditton near Maidstone, Mr Hawkins and his wife Tara owned a house in Spring Vale South, Dartford, before moving to a larger property in Ditton, three years ago.

The move followed the birth of their son Harrison in January 2009.

The 34-year-old will pocket at least £125,000 in the final.
