Two cars crashed last night with a young woman cut free from her car

Fire crews were called to Burnham Road, Dartford last night after a car crash.

They received the call at 8.30pm and went to the scene where two cars were said to have crashed.

Police and an ambulance were also in attendance.

A fire brigade spokesman said: "We used hydraulic cutting equipment to remove the roof of a vehicle to free a woman who was trapped following a crash.

"The young woman was placed on a spinal longboard into the care of the ambulance service and given first aid at the scene by paramedics."

Burnham Road was closed by police during the incident.
