Disqualified driver caught on M25 after leaving petrol station on the A20 London Road in West Kingsdown without paying

A disqualified driver who filled up his car and left without paying was later caught at a motorway service station.

He filled his car up with £35 worth of fuel and drove off without paying.

Police were called and later tracked his car to the Clacket Lane services on the M25.

Officers detained Winsley in connection to the earlier incident and when searched, they found a small quantity of cocaine.

Winsley, of Staff Road, Aldershot, was later charged with making off without payment, possession of cocaine, driving whilst disqualified and driving without insurance.

The 48-year-old appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday where he pleaded guilty to all the offences.

He was remanded to a hearing at Guildford Magistrates’ Court on January 2.
