A "speeding" driver smashed into a wall while being chased by police.

Officers tried to pull over the motorist on suspicion of speeding in the Princes Road area of Dartford at around 3.45am.

But he allegedly failed to stop, prompting police to pursue the car for around two miles.

The chase came to a dramatic end in Birchwood Road, when the suspect ploughed the car into a brick wall.

No one was injured in the crash.

A 20-year-old man from Longfield was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and remains in custody.
