Accident on roundabout M25 Swanley Interchange roundabout

Police and fire crews are at the scene of an accident involving a lorry which has been described as a "serious incident".

All access is blocked to the roundabout at the M25 junction 3 Swanley Interchange.

Officers asked motorists to avoid the area and disruption is expected to continue until the afternoon while the vehicle is recovered.

Kent Police was called at 7.05am to the incident, which is not thought to have involved any other vehicles.

Fire crews worked with paramedics to remove the driver from the lorry's cab.

He has been passed onto the care of ambulance crews.

The accident is on the northern side of the roundabout between the M25 clockwise exit and the M20 eastbound entry sliproad.
