Horses rounded up by police in Fulwich Road, Dartford

Police were called out this morning to help catch three horses.

They were reported straying around The Brent and London Road, among others, in Dartford.

It was reported to police at 5.30am.

Officers rounded them up on Fulwich Road and had to close the road for a short period until the welfare contractor arrived on scene at around 7.20am.

The horses were then taken to a safe place and inquiries are being made to locate their owner.
