Traffic was brought to a standstill after a crash at the Dartford Crossing tunnel closed two lanes.

The anti-clockwise carriageway was temporarily shut between junctions 1A at Dartford and junction 31 for Lakeside.

Queues were seen building towards junction 3 for Swanley and the M20 following the incident at about midday.

The right hand tunnel was temporarily closed.

As of 3.30pm the tunnel and all lanes have since reopened.

Drivers have been warned to expect delays of 30 minutes anove normal journey times.
